About The Position

Under direct supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist II or a Lead, performs laboratory tests as assigned. Processes and performs laboratory testing in sections where successful completion of clinical rotation has occurred; reviews and reports lab results and performs operation and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an NCCLS-accredited medical technology or medical laboratory technician program.
• Completed all pre-clinical, core medical laboratory sciences.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests as assigned under supervision.
• Process and perform laboratory testing in sections where clinical rotation has been completed.
• Review and report lab results.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
