Requirements

• B.S. degree in Medical Technology or Chemical, Physical, or Biological science, PLUS one (1) year experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital based clinical laboratory, OR B.S. or B.A. degree in Education, Business Administration, or other health related specialty, plus two (2) years’ experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital based clinical laboratory, OR Two (2) year Associate Degree in a health related specialty or Business Administration,plus three (3) years of experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital based clinical laboratory, OR Four (4) years of experience as a phlebotomist and laboratory data clerk in a hospital based clinical laboratory.
• Three (3) years of hospital based phlebotomy supervisory experience.

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication, mathematical, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge of information systems, software applications and telecommunication systems.
• Demonstrate the ability to make decisions, solve problems, and promote laboratory services and organization to physicians and general public.
