Fuel your passion The SCAL Specialist plays a key role in delivering high‑quality Special Core Analysis (SCAL) programs, with a strong emphasis on core flow studies and Formation Damage evaluation. You will design, execute, and interpret complex laboratory experiments that support reservoir engineering, production technology, and field development planning. Your expertise will help ensure accurate data, reliable workflows, and safe laboratory operations.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 10 years hands‑on SCAL experience with a focus on core flow studies
  • Have expertise in Formation Damage evaluation (preferred)
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Geoscience, Physics, Chemistry, or related field
  • OR a High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years of Engineering/Technology experience
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical skills for operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
  • Have excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Have strong communication skills for technical reporting and collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Performing advanced core flow experiments, including Formation Damage testing and special‑purpose studies
  • Designing experimental workflows aligned with industry standards and best laboratory practices
  • Analyzing complex datasets, interpreting results, and generating high‑quality technical reports
  • Providing technical input to reservoir engineering, production technology, and drilling teams
  • Maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting SCAL laboratory equipment
  • Developing customized experimental procedures for unique reservoir challenges
  • Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety, quality control, and documentation standards
  • Following all company safety policies, safe work practices, and applicable HSE regulations
