About The Position

We are currently hiring for a full time Laboratory Section Head within the Clinical Laboratory department here at Aspen Valley Health. Work Shift: Days - 10 Hour Compensation Range: $42.13 - $67.41 Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour! The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position. The Section Head performs various clinical laboratory tests according to established policies and procedures to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Responsible for the day-to-day supervision or oversight of assigned laboratory section, and training of employees working in the section. Requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology
American Society for Clinical Pathology - Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
Minimum five years of experience working in a clinical laboratory.
Minimum four years of experience working within this section of a clinical laboratory.

Nice To Haves

Experience with EPIC preferred.
Experience with Vitros, Unity and WellSky preferred.
ASCP Speciality certifications preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities
