About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Laboratory Section Coordinator to support overnight laboratory operations in a fast-paced, hospital-based setting. This role serves as a technical expert and shift leader, combining hands-on clinical responsibilities with operational oversight. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of critical tests, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting seamless lab operations during night shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist (required)
• Florida Technologist Supervisor License (required)
• Associate Degree in Science (required)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field (preferred)
• ASCP or equivalent national certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze laboratory tests with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround time
• Ensure all quality control procedures and documentation meet regulatory and accreditation standards
• Coordinate and prioritize workflow based on patient acuity and departmental needs
• Provide leadership and direction to laboratory staff during the shift
• Assist in training and mentoring team members to maintain high performance standards
• Communicate operational updates, equipment status, and workflow concerns to leadership
• Foster a collaborative and professional work environment
