You’ll use discrete analyzers, automated titrators, spectrophotometers, and various electrode meters to analyze different samples. You’ll use analytical balance for gravimetric analysis, interpreting analytical results, and maintaining laboratory records. To prepare samples for analysis, you’ll perform digestions, extractions, and concentrations, as well as prepare chemical reagents and standard solutions. You’ll also interpret operating conditions and maintain instruments daily. Additionally, you’ll extract and concentrate samples, conduct clean-up of extracts, and the separation of analytes for further organic analysis. You’ll use grinder and gel permeation chromatograph to prepare fish samples and use various extraction systems to prepare other samples.
