The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Research Technician to support the UNC Marsico Lung Institute Cystic Fibrosis Tissue Procurement and Cell Culture Core. This position plays a crucial role in the mission to improve health and wellbeing through patient care, education, and research. The Research Technician will be involved in dissecting human lung tissue, isolating various cell types, and maintaining primary cell cultures, among other responsibilities. The role also includes supporting staff with custom media preparation and assisting with COVID-19 research studies and other lung disease research.
