About The Position

Position Summary:
The Laboratory Relations Specialist manages communication between assigned technical groups and project management staff. This is an on-site position that requires strong communication and computer skills.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Previous customer service experience
• Proficiency with computers
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• Experience or education in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
• Strong attention to detail
• 1-3+ years of customer service experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
• Professional communication skills

Responsibilities

• Reviews emails from project management team and works with lab staff to respond
• Reviews shipping status and due dates for incoming ICO jobs. Work with ICO Project Management to address as needed.
• Reviews production summary for assigned departments daily and provides status updates to ICO Project Management
• Assists management with identifying issues early and addressing them
• Records upcoming projects in department tracking spreadsheet.
• Runs Excel reporting
• Assists with any other tasks as assigned
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Attend meetings within the laboratory
• Cross-training and/or assisting other departments
• Additional duties as assigned
