About The Position
We are currently seeking a Laboratory Project Manager for Medpace Reference Laboratories. This position is responsible for managing projects independently for one or more of Medpace Reference Laboratories' major clients. The Laboratory Project Manager will supervise all aspects of designated clinical protocols, ensuring accountability for meeting agreed timelines, budgets, and performance quality. This role involves creating and maintaining laboratory manuals, both general and study-specific, as well as other study-related documents. Additionally, the manager will develop and present clinical laboratory presentations at investigator meetings, design specifications, and monitor the production of specimen collection kits. As the primary contact for sponsors regarding all aspects of assigned protocols, the Laboratory Project Manager will track study status as appropriate and communicate all aspects of the protocol to various internal departments for appropriate study setup, maintenance, and closeout. Furthermore, the manager will be responsible for writing, establishing, and revising relevant Standard Operating Procedures and/or work instructions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. This position requires a proactive approach to project management and a strong ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
