About The Position

KBI is seeking a laboratory operations technician for the analytical and formulation sciences department. An ideal applicant should have strong communication skills, attention to details, curriculum history in the sciences, eagerness to collaborate and a passion for helping patients through medicines. At a granular level, in addition to other duties, the AFS Operations Tech will be responsible for: Daily laboratory audit readiness housekeeping (Glassware, supplies etc…) Laboratory reagent shelf-life identification, labeling and disposal Hazardous waste collection and disposal per OSHA and HSE Laboratory Instrument Standardization pH, balances etc Documentation review for simple instruments and peer shadowing Instrument classification, documentation reconciliation and labeling Daily Laboratory Audit Inspection Walkthrough and Documentation Operations collaboration with management

Requirements

• Laboratory Operations Technician requires a high school degree or equivalent
• Laboratory Operations Technician I require education equivalency with 2+ years of experience

Nice To Haves

• Enrollment in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program preferred.
• LabWorks certification a plus with 0+ years’ experience.
