Key Position Details: 1.0 FTE (80 hours every two-week pay period) 8 hour, day shifts No weekends Location is the Central Lab This position requires travel around the Allina Health system Job Description: Acts as the expert and conduit in support of ambulatory lab operations across the system. Communicates with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure seamless, high quality patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field
• 3+ years Laboratory experience
• 3+ years progressive management accountability
• Certified Medical Laboratory Technician required-American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC)

Responsibilities

• Engaging with external vendor partners on key strategies, communications, and issues.
• Communicating with internal key stakeholders acting as a liaison to external vendor partners.
• Providing technical and clinical lab expertise to Allina sites.
• Partnering with lab leadership and medical directors to ensure compliance and quality measures are achieved.
• Supporting central training plans/activities for Allina sites.
• Other duties as assigned.
