Marimn Health is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee the overall operation and administration of the laboratory. This position is open in-house through Monday, September 8th, 2025. The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, managing personnel, and maintaining quality laboratory services. The position is located in Plummer, ID, and offers fantastic benefits, flexible schedules, and paid holidays.

  • Oversee the overall operation and administration of the laboratory.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Perform duties of chief technologist, technical consultant, clinical consultant, and testing personnel.
  • Plan and carry out a diagnostics testing program providing hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and serology services.
  • Ensure appropriate physical plant and environmental conditions for testing.
  • Monitor adherence to annual budget.
  • Evaluate and select new equipment/instrumentation.
  • Maintain lab equipment and supplies.
  • Update and renew purchasing agreements with outside labs.
  • Review and update Lab Manual yearly.
  • Establish and maintain quality control and quality assurance programs.
  • Develop 'Standards of Care' for visit planning and processing of patients.
  • Conduct orientation training and evaluations for laboratory personnel.
  • Prepare written quarterly reports reflecting productivity and outcomes.
  • Coordinate/develop Lab staff work schedules.
  • Attend meetings and chair departmental meetings quarterly.
  • Evaluate and select reagents and supplies, and manage inventory control.
  • Master's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution AND at least one year of laboratory training or experience in non-waived testing.
  • OR a bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution AND at least 2 years of laboratory training or experience in non-waived testing.
  • Current, non-expired certification from a nationally recognized certifying board.
  • Qualified under State of Idaho laws to direct a laboratory.
  • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of professional experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
  • Two (2) years management experience preferred.
