This role will focus on managing the logistics of research and development materials that move in and out of our laboratory, in compliance with all transportation regulations. Execute proper packaging and labeling of shipping research material in and out of our Richland laboratory for ground and/or air transport. Provides specimen management for client Pre-Clinical and Clinical Pharmacology in a GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) compliant environment. Maintains the chain of custody for biological specimens. Provides domestic logistics. Ensures compliance with International Air Transport Association (IATA), DOT, EPA, and internal compliance regulations. Keeps accurate records of all Hazardous Material shipments for auditing by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT), FAA, and NRC. Serve as a site contact with the contracted interplant courier service and their drivers.
