About The Position

Onondaga Community College's School of Health, Wellness, and Human Services invites applications for the position of Laboratory Instructor for the Surgical Technology program, offered in collaboration with Corning Community College. The Lab Instructor will guide and support students during laboratory-based coursework at Corning Community College, working in coordination with the lead instructor at Onondaga Community College.

Requirements

• Active Certification as a Surgical Technologist with a minimum of three years of experience within the last five years.
• General comfort with digital technology, including basic troubleshooting and navigating digital tools.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated connections with local healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and instruct students in a laboratory setting.
• Assist in planning and execution of weekly lab skills activities.
• Assess students' skills, knowledge and behavior in the lab setting.
• Communicate with Onondaga Community College faculty and program coordinator.
