About The Position
New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a respected and expanding Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a Laboratory Information System Associate to join our growing team. Our practice manages a freestanding outpatient Cancer Center operating seven days a week, offering chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy, and a Research department—with clinic locations from Southampton to NYC. The Laboratory Information System Associate will support and maintain the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and associated interfaces. This role involves collaboration across departments to ensure seamless communication and system functionality, with a focus on HL7 messaging, system upgrades, testing, documentation, hardware maintenance, and vendor coordination.
