The Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Administrator tracks and manages the LIS implementation and ongoing maintenance of the LIS in the delivery of laboratory services and laboratory information. The purpose of this position is to prioritize, investigate and solve problems and questions pertaining to lab system applications, networking, interfaces, and data transmission as appropriate for the LIS and other related activities. This position is responsible for overseeing hardware and software installation, network troubleshooting and problem resolution, integration and interfaces, client oversight, preparation, and support as well as any data conversion decision-making, preparation and support.
