The position involves performing field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. The role requires communication with project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, and contractors regarding the construction site, project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection requirements and results. Responsibilities include transporting material samples to the laboratory for further testing and analysis, preparing and submitting data and observations in written and digital reports, maintaining and cleaning equipment, vehicles, and work areas, and assisting with scheduling and dispatch of technicians to project sites while adhering to strict safety standards.
