About The Position

Are you looking for a career as a Lab Associate -Phlebotomist? Look no further than BJC! This position is in Phlebotomy. Join our Phlebotomy Laboratory team to be an integral part of delivering precise and reliable laboratory results that impact patient outcomes positively. Hours - 12:00 - 8:30pm Schedule - Monday - Friday; On-Call Every Other Weekend and Rotating Holidays Duties: Phlebotomy, training new phlebotomist, central receiving duties, floating to help out where needed. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years
  • < 2 years Supervisor Experience
  • BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises laboratory activities to ensure that procedures are performed promptly, accurately, and precisely according to department and hospital policies and procedures.
  • May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
  • Ensures Compliance with the Regulatory Guidelines.
  • Responsible for the oversite of all technical functions for Specimen Collection and Processing.

  • Floating to help out where needed.
