About The Position

Supports high quality laboratory testing in a clinical laboratory. Prepares specimens for testing, performs routine laboratory tests, performs quality control and maintenance procedures, recognizes computer data problems, troubleshoots laboratory instruments, communicates technical information to medical and lay persons, assists with training laboratory personnel in routine procedures, participates in continuing education, recognizes normal and abnormal values, complies with all safety guidelines and models Standards of Behavior in daily interactions and activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences including:
  • 24 semester hours of science courses that include:
  • Six semester hours of chemistry
  • Six semester hours of biology
  • 12 semester hours of any combination of chemical or biological sciences
