We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA's laboratory business in Valencia, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with the receipt of clinical specimens. This position is ideal for passionate innovators who are eager to drive healthcare forward through thoughtful and inclusive collaboration. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and technical support to the laboratory, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining glassware for the laboratory, which involves washing, rinsing, drying, distributing, and storing items such as test tubes, beakers, flasks, and cylinders. You will also be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, which includes disinfecting workbenches, materials, equipment, and other laboratory areas. Additionally, you will prepare and sterilize laboratory supplies, equipment, and other materials, ensuring that everything is ready for use. Another key aspect of your role will be responsible for tube labeling and preparation, as well as facilitating post-analysis storage and sample banking. You may also conduct routine equipment maintenance as needed. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining effective reporting procedures and controlling workflow, as well as establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
