Position Summary: We are looking for a motivated, outgoing candidate to join our laboratory staff; a candidate that wants to contribute to the health care team by performing essential laboratory testing at our Provo Oncology stat laboratory. As one of our team members, you will provide support with the daily activities of the medical laboratory. Our expectation is to provide courteous and friendly service with multiple patients and offices. We expect that you will maintain a professional image in appearance and conduct; balance team and individual responsibilities to contributes to a positive work environment. Because you will interact with all ranges of providers, patients, and co-workers, must have excellent communication skills to interact effectively. INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent customer experience with every encounter to patients and co-workers both in and out of the laboratory.
• Provide support with the daily activities of the medical laboratory including performing general laboratory testing including moderate and waived complexity.
• Perform phlebotomy and other specimen collection within the Oncology STAT Lab.
• Receiving and processing specimens for testing at Revere Health and other reference labs.
• Performance of quality control, troubleshooting and instrument maintenance.
