About The Position

TalentFish is casting a line for a Laboratory Assistant. This is a contract, W2 role onsite in Bentonville, AR. The reason this position exists is to support the Homelines area with hands-on laboratory testing, sample processing, and report writing in partnership with senior lab staff and engineers. What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience) Understanding of laboratory information systems and general laboratory equipment. Ability to read and interpret test results, charts, graphs, and reports. Experience operating basic laboratory equipment and following defined test plans and datasheets. Comfort using computer systems to input, extract, and report data. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational instructions. Strong attention to detail, documentation, and data integrity. Ability to follow physical and digital security practices and code of conduct requirements. What You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position) Process lab samples, perform tests, and record and analyze results. Build and/or adapt basic test setups and equipment for performance of tests. Perform tests using general laboratory equipment and conduct routine equipment care. Follow defined test plans and datasheets, as directed by senior staff. Evaluate test performance and sample operations to assess results accurately. Record, explain, and interpret test results. Prepare charts, graphs, and reports to explain test outcomes, including report writing for the Homelines area. Examine test samples, read measuring instruments, and review data with supervisors. Communicate with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation. Receive instructions from and report data to engineers and laboratory technician staff. Record observed or calculated data on appropriate data sheets. Develop working knowledge of methods, instrumentation, and systems. Integrate continuous improvement concepts into daily work. Read and follow all code of conduct and physical and digital security practices. Perform other duties, as directed.
