The role assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks, aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies, and may be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. The position ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Requirements

Active phlebotomy certification (for Senior Laboratory Assistant)
May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED)
Completion of a formal phlebotomy program
Phlebotomy experience
Experience in a laboratory-related field

Responsibilities

Receiving, send out, and processing of specimen samples
Minimal phlebotomy required
Scheduling (for Senior role)
Training (for Senior role)
Policy review (for Senior role)
Phlebotomy
