Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment. They help cover PTO, leaves of absence, and staffing shortage. Must be available to train full-time if little to no phlebotomy experience
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
- High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
Responsibilities

- Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks.
- Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies.
- May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results.
- Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
- Prepping & performing phlebotomy on children up to elderly patients
- Preparing samples for pickup
- Maintain appropriate supplies inventory
- Charting blood draws
