Our Retail Center of Excellence, in Lowell, AR, is looking for a Laboratory Assistant , to join the Toy testing team in conducting safety, performance and quality assurance testing. Be directly impactful in creating a safer world for everyone. Responsibilities Builds and/or adapts basic setup and test equipment for performance of tests. Performs tests using general laboratory equipment. Performs routine care of designated test equipment and work area. Operates computer terminal to extract/input readily available information and to use available software. As directed follows defined test plans and datasheets. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Records and explains test results. Reads and interprets results of tests. Prepares charts, graphs and reports to explain test results. Examines test samples, reads measuring instruments and reviews test data with supervisor. Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and operational instructions. As instructed examines customer samples and learns to operate basic tests for each case. Communicates with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation. Operates designated laboratory equipment and tools as directed. Receives instructions from and reports data to engineers and other laboratory technician staff. Records observed or calculated data on appropriate data sheets. Develops working knowledge of the job, methods, instrumentation and systems. Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. Performs other duties as directed. #LI-BW1 #LI-Onsite Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent (Higher Secondary Education). Skills & Competencies Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a production-focused environment. Work Environment & Responsibilities Ability and willingness to work overtime when business needs arise.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Higher Secondary Education).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
