The job assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks, aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies, and may be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and collect biological specimens.
• Prepare and process laboratory specimens.
• Assist in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks.
• Aid in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies.
• Enter laboratory orders and results.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of laboratory data.
