Laboratory Assistant I - OB-GYN
About The Position
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Limited, Full-Time, Laboratory Assistant I to join our research team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the Principal Investigator (PI) and senior lab members by performing basic and routine laboratory experiments, research protocols, and assays. You will also assist with general laboratory support duties, ensuring smooth daily operations as directed by the PI and laboratory manager. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a research environment and contribute to ongoing scientific studies within the department. Limited appointment may convert to career. Hourly Salary Range: $20.90 - $24.19
Requirements
- Willingness to work with research animals and perform in-vivo experiments
- Organizational and recordkeeping skills
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated experience with molecular and cellular biology techniques
- Basic knowledge of biomedical research
- General laboratory experience
