Laboratory Assistant – Clinical Laboratory Performs routine collection procedures, assists technologists and technicians in Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Histology. Processes laboratory specimens. Coordinates and performs clerical/reception, client/patient/customer related duties pertaining to laboratory testing and relays information between the laboratory, other hospital areas and clients. This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below: Texas: Plainview. Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements. Flexible and available to work on a variable shift which may include days, evenings, or nights shifts. Work Status Available: Per Diem / On Call Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies.

Nice To Haves

• HS Diploma -OR- GED Equivalency
• Laboratory experience
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medical Terminology
• Computer experience to include Windows Excel and Word
