We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in laboratory techniques and a passion for scientific inquiry. This role is essential in supporting our research and quality control efforts within an industrial laboratory setting. The Laboratory Analyst will work collaboratively with other scientists and technicians to ensure accurate testing and analysis of samples, contributing to the advancement of our projects.

  • Conduct routine laboratory tests and analyses using established protocols and techniques.
  • Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Document test results meticulously, adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
  • Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and sample tracking.
  • Perform quality control checks on samples to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Assist in histology and microbiology procedures, including sample preparation and staining.
  • Apply knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology in relevant testing scenarios.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to testing processes or equipment.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on advancements in laboratory practices.
  • Proficiency in various laboratory techniques, including microbiological assays, histological staining, and quality control measures.
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is preferred.
  • Experience working in an industrial laboratory environment is advantageous.
  • Understanding of veterinary terminology and animal physiology is a plus.
  • Strong mathematical skills for data analysis and interpretation of results.
  • Previous experience adhering to GLP guidelines is highly desirable.
