We are currently seeking to add a Laboratory Administrator to assist our materials testing department. The job will entail administration and document management of laboratory reports, scheduling of laboratory staff for testing as well as managing the supply ordering for the office and laboratory. The position will include working closely with the Company's laboratory staff, engineering staff and management group. Why Join GeoPacific? Requirements

  • Possess superb communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Be familiar with scheduling tools or shared calendars (e.g., Outlook, Google Calendar)
  • Work efficiently and meet deadlines in both independent and team settings
  • Possess strong customer service skills when interacting with contractors and clients

Responsibilities

  • Lab Administration Ensuring all laboratory reports are scanned and saved to the server
  • Constant update of distribution lists based on requests
  • Quality control checks
  • Data entry of reports and work records
  • Distribution of reports
  • Assisting in billing and invoicing
  • Storage equipment administration and tracking
  • Scheduling and Dispatch Answering calls & emails from contractors/clients/engineers for scheduling site visits
  • Managing the field testing calendar
  • Dispatching staff for site work
  • Office Management Managing stationery, lab/office, kitchen supply orders
  • Keeping the kitchens clean and tidy
  • Accepting and processing all deliveries
  • Assisting HR with onboarding preparations and events setup as needed
