About The Position
As a Retail Yard Waterer at Moon Valley Nurseries, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and appearance of our plants and trees by ensuring they receive proper hydration. This position is essential for promoting healthy growth and requires a keen attention to detail, physical stamina, and a passion for horticulture. You will be responsible for watering plants according to a seasonal watering schedule, monitoring soil moisture levels, and assisting with general nursery maintenance tasks. The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, and you will need to be physically active throughout your shift. The position is full-time, with a commitment of 40 hours per week, and is eligible for overtime. You will be expected to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate availability to work any day of the week, as the nature of the job may require flexibility in scheduling.
