The Labor/Union Relations Representative at ZEMLOCK LLC is a full-time role based in Phoenix, AZ, designed for an experienced Human Resources professional. This position serves as a key liaison between management, employees, and union representatives, focusing on employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and union negotiations. The representative will provide counsel on policies, conduct investigations, and facilitate training sessions, all while promoting a positive workplace culture.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, interpreting and applying policies, guidelines, procedures, and union contracts.
  • Conduct investigations related to employee conduct, performance, and compliance issues, providing recommendations for positive resolutions.
  • Actively participate in grievance procedures, contract discussions, and negotiations.
  • Counsel and administer separations of service effectively and empathetically.
  • Collaborate with various HR departments to resolve employee and management concerns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leadership, employees, and union representatives to facilitate problem resolution.
  • Provide impactful training sessions on HR policies and procedures.
  • Draft responses for legal inquiries (EEOC/OFCCP) and contribute to the development of HR policies.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution relevant to the position.
  • 3+ years of Employee and Labor Relations experience in the utility industry.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of employment law and experience in negotiations.
  • Driver's License (Preferred).
  • Professional In Human Resources (Preferred).
  • SHRM/PHR certification preferred.
