About The Position

The Labor Relations Officer position is an advanced professional role within the City of St. Petersburg's Human Resources Department, specifically in the Labor Relations division. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, industrial or labor relations, or public/business administration.
  • Valid Driver License.
  • Prior experience in Human Resources, preferably in local government or Labor/Employee Relations.
  • Experience analyzing data and composing professional reports.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Labor/Employee Relations laws and policies (PERC, EEOC, DOL).
  • Experience conducting internal investigations related to employee misconduct.
  • Experience writing and applying Rules, Regulations, Policies, Laws, and Labor Agreements.
  • Advanced degree in public administration, human resources, legal or related fields.
