About The Position

Global Time & Labor Management (TLM) is seeking a strong candidate who is focused on individual and team performance as well as continuous process improvement. Time & Labor Management is responsible for ensuring timecards are accurate and compliant with RTX policies, and Federal and State Labor Laws. This position will also be responsible for supporting timekeeping process improvements, involved in system implementations, collaborating with business partners across the enterprise, and assisting the team with problem resolution & daily timecard needs. The Time & Labor Management team manages a high volume, fast-paced process in a team-oriented environment with opportunities for continuously expanding responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field and at least 1+ years of applicable experience in payroll, timekeeping, finance, auditing, and/or compliance experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel including formulas and functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Payroll or Timekeeping gained in a corporate environment.
  • An understanding of labor policies and federal & state labor laws
  • Working knowledge of SAP, EV5, ServiceNow, and WorkDay with emphasis within areas of Payroll or Timekeeping
  • Detail oriented
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize tasks to manage workload effectively with effective problem solving and decision-making skills to promote work efficiency
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service through verbal and written communication in a corporate environment

Responsibilities

  • Performing calculations, audits, and system entries for timecard accuracy
  • Assisting the TLM team with daily timecard support efforts
  • Actively engaged in and supporting the Labor Accounting Transfer process
  • Continually assessing & enhancing timecard SAP systems for optimum team performance
  • Developing solutions to a variety of problems and complexities to ensure best practice
  • Identifying & coordinating team trainings to ensure team effectiveness
  • Support internal and external audit scopes provided by DCAA
  • Initiate and track projects and collaborate with stakeholders for domestic & international TLM requirements
  • Create and maintain TLM communications and guidance to internal & external customers enterprise wide
