About The Position
Labor & Delivery / Family Birth Center Registered Nurse (RN) – 13 Week Contract Lake Regional Hospital | Osage Beach, Missouri The RN provides nursing care for obstetric and postpartum patients while working collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team to support safe and effective patient care. Candidates will be interviewed and submitted to the facility for review. Start dates are determined by the facility after candidate selection.
Requirements
- Active RN license (Missouri or compact state)
- Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition and nursing care needs
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and OB procedures
- Administer medications and treatments
- Document patient care and responses
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams
- Provide patient and family education
