About The Position

The Labor & Delivery (L&D) Operating Room Technician is responsible for maintaining the L&D operating rooms, creating and maintaining a sterile field during surgical procedures, assisting with maintaining the environment and equipment in L&D, entering surgical data from the perioperative report into the electronic record, and completing patient charges for surgical patients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Graduate from surgical technologist school; or one (1) year of previous surgical technician experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to report to site within 30 minutes if on-call.

Nice To Haves

• Operating Room Technician (ORT) Certification.
• Previous hospital experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities
