What you will be doing: Provide expert legal advice to employers on employment laws, regulations, and compliance issues. Handle employment-related discrimination claims, wrongful termination, compliance issues, management labor issues, affirmative action obligations, draft affirmative action plans, wage and hour matters, OSHA/MOSH actions, Title VII matters, and related federal, state, and local employment matters. Lead negotiations and mediations as well as represent client employment interests in federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration proceedings. Serve as an advocate for clients, offering clear and concise legal guidance. Maintain active communication with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel. Advise clients on labor relations matters including occasional union negotiations and labor disputes. Have a working knowledge of NLRB rules and regulations.
