About The Position
Full-Time Reporting to the Director of Labor & Delivery Performs patient care duties delegated by the RN related to patients’ personal needs, comfort, and safety.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification as a nursing assistant by the Maryland State Board of Nursing
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Responsibilities
- Provides hygiene, mobility, and procedural care across various age groups.
- Proficient in setting up and using respiratory and cardiac equipment.
- Utilizes aseptic techniques for various procedures, maintaining isolation standards.
- Assists Anesthesiologist with epidural and spinal anesthesia placement.
- Maintains anesthesia supplies, equipment, and cleanliness in patient areas.
- Orders and stocks routine and specialized supplies.
- Monitors vital signs and reports to RN for various patient populations.
- Other duties as assigned
