Requirements

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part II obtained during clinical orientation
ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation
National Fetal Monitor certification obtained during clinical orientation
Special OB course completed during clinical orientation

Responsibilities

Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
Meticulously document all aspects of patient care
