The Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery) will provide nursing care to routine and high-risk Obstetrical patients including newborns during the transition period within assigned inpatient unit based on relevant specialty care standards. Work Schedule: Perform approximately 14–17 shifts per month, each lasting 12–16 hours. Rotating day and night shifts on a quarterly basis. Required to notify supervisor and charge nurse promptly in case of illness or emergency. May be required to cover additional shifts due to staffing needs. Maximum of 16 hours per shift or 84 hours within a two-week period. Required participation in on-call duties, including: 24-hour call every other week. Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes if called in. On-call compensation applies. Required to work federal holidays and non-duty days as scheduled.
