About The Position

Zoox's Cartography team is responsible for building, curating, and maintaining high-definition road networks. This includes expanding our geofence, validating the accuracy of annotated data, and responding to “world change” events to ensure our maps remain up to date. As a Labeling Technician (3-month contract) , you'll play a key role in creating and validating semantic road network data, ensuring map content aligns with real-world geometry, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain the integrity of our mapping system. We're looking for detail-oriented, analytical students who excel at precision work and can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Excellent time management and communication skills with the ability to meet critical deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret spatial data
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Actively enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college program pursuing a certificate or degree in a related field

Nice To Haves

• Work or school experience in data labeling, annotation, or quality assurance
• Experience with mapping, cartography, or map content validation
• Passion for autonomous vehicle technology and geospatial data
