This position pays $18.40/hr with a $1.00 shift increase for 2nd Shift. The role involves assisting the Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the labeling department. Primary tasks include department set-up and ensuring USDA, production, SSOP, and HACCP requirements are met in the area. The candidate will assist the supervisor with monitoring scales, orders, stacking, and other production-related issues. They will also make decisions on staffing assignments based on product flow, product mix, and attendance. Other responsibilities include relieving line personnel as needed, filling in for absenteeism as necessary, and ensuring general housekeeping. The candidate will fill in for the Supervisor in their absence.
