Label Room Attendant- 1st Shift

About The Position

The Label Room Attendant is responsible for all functions related to labels/sleeves that include but are not limited to receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, reconciling inventory, and destruction of labels/sleeves. The label room attendant is also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and safety One Point Lessons (OPLs).

Requirements

Basic computer skills including Microsoft word, excel, and outlook
Prior manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
Basic mathematical skills, i.e. counting, addition, subtraction
Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions and read and write handwritten instructions
Familiar with the use of scanners, two-way radios, calculators, and scales
Attention to detail adhering to quality standards
Communicate and work with warehouse team for incoming and outgoing label movement
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a physically challenging environment including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours

Responsibilities

Accurately distributes labels to fulfill packaging work orders
Controls label room inventory assuring accurate count
Assures correct label revisions are present
Performs computer transactions related to labels
Performs label reconciliation upon receipt of returned labels
Performs quarantine/hold/reject and destruction duties with completion of associated documentation
Spot checks incoming labels and materials for physical defects
Investigates reconciliation discrepancies
Assists in manufacturing and powder fill departments
Other duties as assigned
