About The Position

As a Label Operator at Steico Industries, you will be responsible for labeling, ink stamping, overcoating, and etching outlined information on detail components and assemblies using general shop tools and equipment. This position requires no prior experience and is scheduled for the AM shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 an hour, depending on experience. Requirements

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, easily understood manner.
• English verbal and written skills.
• Ability to wear special PPE required to do the job (respirators and safety glasses).
• High School diploma / General Education Completion.
• Basic math skills to perform basic calculations such as addition and subtraction.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes and use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform label, ink stamp and etch duties on components and assemblies.
• Use general shop and hand tools.
• Wear special PPE required to do the job (Respirators, Safety Glasses).
• Follow documented manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Produce quality parts and meet individual productivity goals.
• Clean and maintain work areas as part of 5s program.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Follow all Steico Policies including Attendance.
• Communicate well with leads and coworkers to achieve the department goals.
• Perform other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate.
