The Canned Label Line Operator is responsible for operating and setting up a label machine for warehouse label and case operation, as well as being responsible for production output and maintenance of all label line machinery. This position is also a backup in all areas of the department. This position is located at Lakeside Foods Plainview, MN.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, preferred.
- Basic math skills.
- One or two years' experience and/or training as a Line Operator.
- Experience in supervision.
- Safety mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lubricate, adjust, and clean the label machine.
- Maintain and set up machinery on the label line.
- Examine cans and cartons to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency per the customer's specifications.
- Maintain proper palletizing of the finished cases.
- Inspect and compare pallet tickets against the pallet load to ensure accuracy.
- Complete all necesary entries on the order and label work order.
- Complete daily label report.
- Supervise employees on the Label Line.
- Assist in training employees in the Label Department.
- Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
