Amazon LEO is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. The Lab Test Engineer role is responsible for keeping aerospace environmental test production running smoothly. You will troubleshoot issues that technicians encounter during daily testing, resolving problems with test setup, equipment, and IT infrastructure. The Lab Test Engineer will be an expert for our various Automated Test Equipment (Test Racks) used during environmental testing. With your expertise in environmental testing procedures, equipment, and basic Python scripting, you will identify root causes and implement corrective actions to maximize productivity and product quality. Additionally, you are responsible for production support activities including ticket management, change management, monitoring, metrics, documentation, process development, host provisioning, and hardware management. You may also debug, evaluate, and resolve software issues for applications and services that will improve availability and performance. You will develop scripts and applications to automate redundant tasks and to improve operational efficiency. You will work cross-functionally with Development, QA, and other Support teams to maintain and improve availability and performance of Amazon LEO's production Automated Test Equipment.
