About The Position
As a Laboratory Technologist in our Transfusion Services department, you will: Perform laboratory procedures essential to the preparation and dispensing of blood and blood products ordered by physicians. Maintain and monitor blood inventory and product availability in alignment with departmental guidelines. Collaborate closely with clinical teams and experience high levels of direct interaction in a supportive, innovative environment. Contribute to the vital work of a busy Level 1 Trauma Center as we expand our team to meet the needs of our growing department. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related health‑science field
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from the New York State Education Department
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Technologist
- ASCP certification
