What You’ll Do Perform routine and complex testing on clinical specimens in the microbiology laboratory, including mycology, bacteriology, and parasitology. Troubleshoot instruments and methodologies to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Execute all quality control procedures and assist in evaluating new equipment, reagents, and methodologies. Work in a state-of-the-art, 24-hour facility designed to maximize your skills and training. Shift Details Evening shift position at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. 4 pm to 12 am. Rotating weekends and holidays, every third weekend/holiday It all begins with you. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related health science field.
  • New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York State Education Department.

Nice To Haves

  • Microbiology experience as a Laboratory Technologist.
  • ASCP certification.
