Lab Technicians are responsible for conducting product testing and analysis in accordance with established test protocols. This role supports Product Development by performing testing on products in development and in production. This is done by using consistent testing methods, ensuring data accuracy, clearly communicating testing results and sharing insights gained during testing. Maintaining testing safety, quality and lab organization are also core attributes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically minded, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines. How You’ll Make an Impact Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our successful functioning as a whole. Your specific responsibilities as a part of our team will include:

  • Perform required testing and analyses as outlined in test protocols.
  • Record detailed, accurate data of test results.
  • Communicate clearly with engineering team about test results, flagging any deviations or non-conformances to engineers.
  • Manage a schedule and multiple projects, while ensuring all required tests are completed on time for each product.
  • Think analytically and apply technical reasoning to testing challenges and data interpretation.
  • Operate, maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory and testing equipment and tools.
  • Follow all safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree in a science or technical discipline is a plus.
  • Experience working in a lab or quality control / manufacturing/testing environment preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and good organizational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (for reporting results, communicating issues, working with team).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
  • Basic computer skills (data entry, spreadsheet or database work).
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and compliance procedures (e.g., chemical handling, lab safety).
