A member of the Product Development department, a food service and healthcare product division at Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. The Lab Technician is responsible for support in the areas of product development and related activities

Requirements

Skilled in MS Excel Spreadsheets and Word Documents and other basic computer skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
Ability to handle complex duties and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Knowledge of food and beverage manufacturing processes
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2–5 years of related experience
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of food and beverage manufacturing operations, including experience with kettle mixers, scales, and micro lab processes

Supports Product Development scientist, technologist and pilot plant activities.
Plans and conducts a complete project of significant scope.
Communicates results of tasks in oral and written form.
Often trains other technicians in variety of complex techniques.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
